COMMUNITY OUTREACH is important to me. As a member of the art community, I am passionate about preserving local galleries and encouraging opportunities for creative expression. As a member of my community at large, I am committed to supporting local non profit groups, organizations and foundations.
LOCAL GALLERIES
Annie’s Artful Adventures supports many local galleries through memberships and participation. it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
The Yorktown Arts Foundation (YAF) was established in 1975 to promote and support the arts for the citizens of York County and the surrounding area. Since its establishment, the Yorktown Arts Foundation has operated an art center and gallery to meet the goals of the foundation. On the Hill Gallery at 401 Main St in Yorktown, VA is currently the home of this foundation and is a great place for local artists to place their work and for the community and tourists to enjoy it. I am proud to have my work there and to volunteer with this organization.
HERITAGE HUMANE SOCIETY
Annie’s Artful Adventures will match donations made to Heritage Human Society at our booth at local art shows. If you purchase something from me and choose to round up, I will match that donation to HHS as well. Our three rescue dogs, Duck, Nico, and Max fully support me in this endeavor and are constant companions in my studio.
